LOs Angeles dag 3

Een heerlijke dag weer vandaag. We zijn begonnen bij Mimi's met een lekker ontbijtje. Vandaar uit konden we lopen naar Disney. En wat is Disney toch leuk! We zijn in veel attracties geweest, wel alleen de niet-enge, hahahaha.... met andere woorden daar durfde ik niet in. Maar er bleven er genoeg over!

Het leukste deel vond ik toch wel Mickey's Toontown..... een hoog fotografiegehalte.

Het is hier nu rond 6 uur...... we liggen lekker uit te rusten (beentjes omhoog) om straks lekker uit eten te gaan in 'Disney Downunder'.

Morgen gaan we richting Redonda Beach, geen straf met ruim 25 graden!

Vandaag stond in het teken van shoppen, shoppen en nog eens shoppen....

Gewapend met de nodige kortingscoupons hebben we eerst de hobbywinkels opgezocht, zoals Michaels en Joanns...... de ochtend was toen al snel voorbij! Hebben weer leuke spullen gekocht. Tja niks nodig maar kan alles gebruiken toch.

Daarna hebben we koers gezet naar een groot overdekt winkelcentrum met oa allemaal dure merken.waar we eerst heerlijk geluncht hebben bij Claim Jumper, een begrip in Amerika, evenals The Cheescake factory waar we savonds hebben gegeten. Wat echt opvalt is de vriendelijkheid van de Amerikanen, heerlijk om als echte klant behandeld te worden.

Vanochtend werd ik opgehaald door Lea en haar man Joachim. We hebben Trui opgepiktontmoeten met haar man. en zijn richting Schiphol gegaan waar we Loes ontmoeten met haar man.We waren keurig op tijd en hadden geen files.

Ondanks alles wat we meegenomen hadden, zware tijdschriften en blikken stroopwafels, bleven we allemaal binnen het toegestane gewicht. Achter de douane heerlijk koffie gedronken.

Het vliegtuig vertrok redelijk op tijd.... het was een lange vlucht maar we hadden wel topplaatsen in het vliegtuig en dat maakt de reis net iets minder vermoeiend! Het eten was niet verkeerd.

Na aankomt in LA hebben we een taxi genomen naar ons hotel Double Tree Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort, een hotel zo ongeveer naast het Convention centrum waar het weekend de CHA begint. We hebben twee mooie ruime suites naast elkaar, met heerlijk Queensize bedden. Inmiddels was het rond 3 uur plaatselijke tijd (voor ons dus al middernacht).... we hebben de auto opgehaald en zijn vervolgens op zoek gegaan naar een Pedi-salon....... wat een luxe! Achterover geleund in heerlijke massagestoelen terwijl ondertussen je voeten gedaan worden. Ik moest even wennen aan de voetmassage, toch even wat giegelen, maar wat was het heerlijk en het resultaat, een french pedicure is helemaal leuk! We doen de hele vakantie verder slippers aan, want die nageltjes moeten wel geshowd worden.

Een heerlijk relaxed tijdverdrijf dus. Ondertussen hadden we wel honger gekregen, dus terug richting hotel en daar in de buurt wat gegeten bij de Overland Stage & Territorial Saloon. Om 21.00 uur waren we terug op de kamers, we waren toen zo'n 28 uur op, dus de hoogste tijd om ons bedje op te zoeken.... we vielen ook bijna om. Maar na een paar uur heerlijk slapen, toch midden in de nacht wakker.... 1 voordeel, tijd om dit berichtje te schrijven.

Als jullie dit lezen zit ik in het vliegtuig richting Los Angeles.

Heerlijk een boekje te lezen en bij komen van alles wat ik van te voren allemaal nog moest regelen.

Ohw ik heb er zo'n zin in. Eerst 5 dagen leuke dingen doen waaronder een bezoek aan Walt Disney.

Lekker shoppen overal.

Bezoekje brengen aan ons Warehouse natuurlijk.

Dan 5 dagen CHA. Verschillende afspraken en leuke mensen ontmoeten.

Ohw wat een slecht leven....

Voor dit schattige Cadeau zakje heb ik een strook van 10 x 30,5 cm gesneden. Meet het midden en ril twee centimeter naar links en rechts. Plak een leuk dessin papier op de voorkant. Niet een gevuld bon bon zakje er tussen. Stans een doily en vouw deze er over heen. Voor de hartjes knip je uit het vel van Pebbles With Love 6 hartjes die je in het midden vast niet.

Natuurlijk mag de swirl van Zva niet ontbreken ( CR-04CB-113)

Deze keer weer een layout op het programma. De opdracht was gebruik 4 foto's.

Dus ben ik eens gaan zoeken en vond deze foto's gemaakt in 2009 tijdens een foto shoot bij de Douglas.

Ik heb een oudere winterlijn gebruikt van Bo Bunny de "Winter Joy"

Ik wilde jullie laten zien dat je er ook een gewoone layout mee kunt maken.

Ik heb van vilt bloemen gemaakt en als jullie goed kijken zien jullie Raisin uit mijn eigen webwinkeltje.

In mijn webwinkeltje staan verschillende setjes. Maar je kunt me ook mailen als je het anders wil.

Dit keer was de opdracht. gebruik 2 foto's (eentje van 5 x 7 xm) Gebruik een Dot en drie Dessin papier, 5 lintjes, 4 bloemen, 3 knopen en jewels.... Pjew over dat lint moest ik even nadenken. Mara ik vond nog heel leuk zilver sterren lint. Dit Is het geworden.

Bo Bunny heeft drie nieuwe lijnen uitgebracht en een daarvan is Snowfall.

Dit is toch wel een favo van mij. Vanwege de kleur en de "bling"!

Het papier heeft niet veel nodig om tot een mooi resultaat te komen.

In mij DT-doos zat ook een score-buddy. Daar heb ik deze rozetten mee gemaakt.

Hierbij een close up van de deurhanger gemaakt voor het "Fairy Tale" event van vorige week.
Het doosje kan open. Leuk om cadeau te geven tijdens de Sint, Kerst, de Juf enzv.
Ik heb papier gebruikt van het nieuwe merk "Authentique". Dit papier is wat dikker en je kunt er hele mooie rillen mee maken zonder dat het papier breekt. Het is ook beslist een van mijn favoriete merken.
Ik heb gebruikt gemaakt van de Hero Arts stempels set "Made with Love". Daar zitten hele bruikbare teksten op. Voor de liefhebbers er zijn nog 3 kits te koop in de winkel PaperandPictures te Doorn.
De kit kost 25 euro compleet met Powerpoint en patronen!
Op de transparante sheet zit een Pearl swirl van het merk Zva!

Sorry allemaal dat ik mijn blog wat verwaarloost heb. Maar wat wil je dan ook na zo'n geweldig weekend.
Het Fairytale Event was geweldig.

Natuurlijk had ik voor de DT meiden allemaal een aardigheidje gemaakt.

Omdat ik van Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth had gebruikt leek het me leuk om van zeep een kop en schotel in kleur te gieten. Zijn ze niet schattig....

This is what I came up for the Zva blog hop of September.

I made a small goodie bag using a small piece of the swirl.

And again I cut a little piece of the swirl and put it between some other flowers.

And Yum did you the the large Swirl from Zva (CR-04CA-106) It gives that ... extra on your layout

Sorry maar tja druk druk druk!
Ik ben bezig geweest om mijn workshops voor het Fairy tale event voor te bereiden.
Eentje is er klaar en de andere... lol. Ik zal jullie een sneakje van de voorkant laten zien!

Mochten jullie zin hebben ik geef deze workshop op zaterdag en op zondag.

Je kunt ook 1 dag boeken voor het Event.
Ik heb nog een paar plekjes vrij.
Dus wie weet tot ziens.

Wil je alleen de zaterdag op de zondag boeken ga dan naar de site van PaperandPictures en geef je op want laten we eerlijk zijn. Zo'n Event wil je niet missen. Daar wil je over mee praten....

Zoals jullie weten ben ik druk met het gieten van kleine bloementjes.

Natuurlijk zijn ze geweldig leuk op je layout of op een kaartje maar zo kan het ook!

Deze ring lag in de lade omdat ik de steem was kwijt geraakt.

Deze armband komt van de rommelmarkt en er zat een lelijke steen op.

Nu heb ik een leuk setje!

Ik verkoop de roosjes/asters 6 voor 1 euro in diverse kleuren. Je krijgt 6 kleine van ongeveer 1 cm of 4 grotere van ongeveer 1,5 cm

Ik heb een tijdje geleden zo'n leuke Tim Holtz stans gekocht in de vorm van een label.

Onder tussen ben ik helemaal verslaafd aan dit soort "DIES"

die je dus in een soort Jar moet plaatsen om te kunnen stanzen.

Deze label's had ik al even liggen.

Beide zijn gestempeld met een achtergrond stempel van Kaiser (die kosten maar 2,99!)

Beetje bruine inkt, lintje, stempeltje, theezakje en natuurlijk een bedeltje.

Workshops Fairy Tale weekend

Onderstaand de twee workshops die ik ga geven tijdens het Fairy Tale weekend 7, 8 en 9 Oktober.

Ohw ik heb er zin in. Ik geef 2x twee workshop's. De keuze voor mij was al snel gemaakt na het zien van de nieuwe papier lijnen van Bo Bunny. De lijn Sweet Tooth is perfect voor wat ik ingedachten heb.
De andere lijn waar ik mee ga werken is het merk Authentique. een nieuw merk waar we heel veel van verwachten. Ik maak in deze workshop ook gebruik van de mooie Swirls van het merk Zva.
Ik heb al een aantal nieuwe doosjes ontwikkeld. Waarvan ik de komende dagen er een paar zal plaatsen op mijn blog omdat ik dan met vakantie in Portugal ben. Dus neem een kijkje hier en laat een berichtje achter!

Laat me ook weten als je een van mijn workshops kom volgen.
Degene die mij kennen weten dat het een gezellige goed te volgen workshop zal zijn.
Ook heb ik een aardigheidje voor degene die mijn workshops volgen. Lol! 3x raden wat.......
Dus snel boeken want vol is vol.

4. Bo Bunny – HIGH TEA DELIGHTFUL

Jolanda Meurs – dubbel blok/3 uur (Waarde 50 euro)
Dit keer een receptenboek met de meest heerlijke lekkernijen voor een high tea! Voor het album wat voorzien is van allerlei uitklappagina’s, flapjes, pockets, envelopjes, is de lijn SWEETH TOOTH gebruikt. Bruin, kraft en roze zijn de basiskleuren. Natuurlijk worden alle heerlijke recepten met bijpassende foto’s bijgeleverd! Dus na de fairytale kun je zo een heerlijke high tea serveren! Misschien leuk om te weten: Jolanda is al meer dan een jaar designteam lid van Bo Bunny, iets waar we natuurlijk hartstikke trots op zijn!

14. Authentique – KADOOSJES VIP

Jolanda Meurs – enkel blok / 1.5 uur

Jolanda is een van de “motors” achter het succesvolle blad KADOOSJES. Maar toen kadoosjes uit kwam… had Jolanda alweer heel veel ideetjes voor nieuwe doosjes. Tijdens deze workshop een aantal van haar nieuwe ”doosjes creaties”. Voor de workshop maakt Jolanda gebruik van de hele nieuwe lijn JOURNEY van AUTHENTIQUE (een van de toppers op de laatst CHA beurs). Natuurlijk mogen lintjes, chrystals en leuke embellishments niet ontbreken in deze workshopkit

De opdracht was.....

Scrap over wat je graag lust!

Nou dat is bij mij niet zo moeilijk...

Ik ben gek op toetjes.

Als we uit eten gaan is het niet compleet zonder een toetje!

Ik heb een aantal prachtige bloemen stanzen weten te bemachtigen van Sizzix.

Er zitten ook weer van die schattige bloementjes tussen de swirls van Zva.

Alles is over en door elkaar heen verwerkt.

Ik heb weer de Lijn Liberty gebruikt van Bo Bunny.

Met een foto van Twan toen hij ik denk 3 jaar oud was.

Omdat er allemaal Amerikaanse sterren op het papier zitten heb ik
er rode polymeer bloemen opgeplakt.

Over een paar weekjes vertrek ik naar Portugal waar ik heerlijk een huisje heb gehuurd van een vriendin.

Tja en wat is me gevraagd....... Lol. Jolan wil je een workshop geven.

Tuurlijk. Leuk.

We gaan een zeepketting maken met een leuk doosje waar hij in past.

Ik ben benieuwd hoe ze het vinden.

Stroopwafels ed hoef ik niet mee te nemen voor bij de koffie

Want er zit een Aldi en daar verkopen ze dat gewoon....

Zo zie je maar hoe raar het soms allemaal kan lopen.

Ja, ja ik weet het .... Het is hier lekker rustig voor mijn doen. Ik heb van alles onder handen.

Ik ben druk geweest voor de Cards Only en ben met een minialbumpje bezig over Volendam.

Nieuwsgierig. Lol. Hierbij een sneakje gemaakt met de Liberty lijn van Bo Bunny.

Een echte Amerikaanse lijn maar zeer geschikt voor OER Hollandse plaatjes.

I like to make small presents for others so this is what I came up using those beautiful swirls and flowers from Zva.
I had so much fun playing that I made 3 projects. Do you like them.....

De opdracht was doe iets met de stickers en het chipboard.

Voor de babyshower van een vriendin heb ik dit gemaakt.

De Liberty papierlijn van Bo Bunny is echt Amerikaans maar je kunt er zoals jullie zien ook andere leuke dingen mee maken.

Weekendje Volendam!

Dit weekend ben ik met een stel meiden heerlijk weg geweest naar Volendam.

Natuurlijk zijn we lekker aan het scrappen geweest maar we hebben ook verschillende Musea bezocht in Volendam en Marken!

Eeeenorm gelachen natuurlijk en heel veel foto's gemaakt. Die zien jullie t.z.t. wel ergens opduiken....

Zoals iedereen weet die mij kent vind ik het leuk om een aardigheidje voor iedereen mee te nemen.
Deze keer heb ik zelf zeep gemaakt en met een aantal kleurtjes swirls er door getrokken.

En aangezien het oog ook wat wil heb ik alles leuk verpakt.
Deze set was voor de OR van school. Lekker ruiken doen ze niet echt maar schoonwassen wel...

Er zijn zo veel manieren om zelf bloemen te maken.Hier heb ik laagjes gemaakt met verschillende ponsen.

Voor vandaag is de Challange bij Bo Bunny Vaderdag kaartjes. De papierlijn TimePiece is perfect voor dit soort gelegenheden. Ik heb dan ook 2 kaartjes gemaakt + een schattig doosje uit het blad "Kadoosjes" dit doosje is gemaakt door Samanta Versluis! Als je een beetje handig bent kun je de patronen zo downloaden en dan uitprinten.

Vintage ornamentjes

Ohw ik ben weer lekker bezig geweest vandaag....
Kijk wat ik gemaakt heb. Ornamentjes. Zijn ze niet leuk!
Ze zijn gemaakt van een soort keramiek en prima te bewerken met verf, glimmer mist ed.
Je kunt ze gebruiken als bloemenhartje of gewoon op je layout of kaart.
Wil je ze bestellen kijk dan even in de webwinkel hier links. Een kaartje met 5 ornamentjes kost 3,50.

Je ontvangt 4 grote en 1 kleine. Ze zijn 3 tot 1 cm groot.

Bo Bunny Barefoot...

Zoals jullie weten heeft Bo Bunny 3 nieuwe lijnen. Een van die lijnen heet Barefoot. Daar heb ik deze layout meegemaakt. Ik heb het papier weer ingesneden er er een Mooie Swirls opgedaan van Zva (CRB-03CA-110)

De stansen die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Tim Holtz en Sizzix.....

Sketch Bo Bunny

Tara Orr heeft een geweldige sketch gemaakt. Omdat ik vanmorgen mijn DT doos kreeg met al het nieuwe papier heb ik snel de sketch uitgewerkt. Ook nu heb ik weer zo'n mooie swirl gebruikt van Zva. Ik heb hem in 2 stukjes geknipt en mee laten lopen met de golven.

Ik heb ook nog een leuk nieuwtje.... Ik mag nog een jaar in het DT van Bo Bunny blijven!

dubbele layout door Jolanda Meurs

Voor Bo Bunny moest ik een dubbele layout maken. Om eerlijk te zijn vind ik dat soort dingen best moeilijk maaaarrrr... ik had nog wat leuke foto's liggen van het paasweekend en die passen perfect bij de Blast Off collectie van Bo Bunny. Harvey heeft een nieuwe motor voor het bij-bootje en tja die moest natuurlijk even uitgeprobeerd worden. Aangezien hij zijn trekker rijbewijs heeft is er niks leuker dan zelf er mee naar de haven scheuren. Ook de jongste wilde even mee. Hij had een nieuw zwemvest want op de Rijn is het soms best gevaarlijk! Klik op de foto dan kun je de layout beter bekijken.

Natuurlijk ook zo'n mooie swirl van Bo Bunny. Deze heb ik in 2 stukje geknipt en op beide kanten verwerkt om weer een geheel te krijgen. CRB-03CA-110

Pjew.... tja jongens!

Ha, ha en niet alleen kleine jongens. Paps is ook even mee om te proberen.

Zva en Prima

Ik had nog wat Prima Marketing pampiertjes liggen en moest voor Zva nog een layout maken.
Op de foto een van mijn paarden die we helaas op te vroege leeftijd hebben moeten inslapen.

Cadeau zakje.

Bij de papier lijnen van Bo Bunny zitten vaak van die mooie bloemen. Eentje heb ik gebruikt op dit Cadeauzakje. Van Zva heb ik een mooie swirl gebruikt met een vlinder.

IAfgelopen week had ik het een beetje gezellig gemaakt onder de veranda naast het kantoor! Mmm... voor wie?

Tja voor mijn honden dus. Tuurlijk liggen ze op de stoelen. Ook had ik een mooi hardroze bloemstuk van zijde gemaakt. Nou die heeft het 1 dag vol gehouden. Dat zit nu in 50 stukjes in de witte emmer. Zucht..... Komend weekend gaan ze achter het huis opnieuw de hardstenen tegels leggen. Duimen dan het nu wel in orde komt. Dan kan ik het daar ook gezellig maken.
